Hi Everyone!
I arrived in Georgetown safely this morning. I'm so thankful my back held up really well on the trip! -Thought I was coming to sunshine but it's wet season again!
My grand plans to mosey in Manhattan during my 9 hour wait in New York were hampered by rain drops and logistical reasons. At least I got to hear Alice, the aiport volunteer say “cwawfee” in her Brooklyn accent. And I had a good conversation with Richard, an aspiring photo journalist from London. I love the diversity of humans on our planet. Beautiful.
Here in Parika, the beams are up on the buildling, we have a brand new foot bridge across the trench and I'm looking forward to hugging more kids tomorrow!
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers...I'll keep you posted!

i'm glad you're back safely and that the plane rides weren't too insulting to your body. the plane here to winnipeg had a little tv for every seat and the seats were leather and made my lower back ache... some guy fainted on our plane and they thought he was having a heart attack so they called the medics and then the ambulance and took him away. and we were 40 minutes late for take off. thank goodness it happened while we were still on the ground!
